Sam Green is the Whiskey Sommelier at The Double Barrel in Beverly Hills, a whiskey expert and knowledgeable host who guides guests through a selection of hundreds of hand-picked vintage, rare and new whiskeys at The Double Barrel.
Green has received a number of certifications over the years that include his Sherry Wine Specialist from the Consejo Regulador de Jerez in Jerez, Spain; BarSmarts Program Certifcation; Bourbon Steward Certification from Stave & Thief Society at Moonshine University in Louisville Kentucky. He has also completed his level 1 certification as a Whiskey Sommelier at the Whiskey Marketing School in Austin, Texas. He is one of 83 certified Whiskey Sommeliers worldwide and was the first certified in Southern California.
Prior to his position at The Double Barrel Green worked at Sassafras Saloon in Hollywood.
